Last Friday's new releases...

I'm late evidently, but here are my layouts for last Friday's new releases :D

Artgal Style released Boys Rule:

I used it to scrap my little man playing with his iPad in his prehistoric tent: anachronism!!

And Simple Girl Scraps has a really cute birthday kit, great for boys or girls. And it's her birthday today so Happy Birthday Theresa! Here's her latest: Celebrate.

I finally scrapped my son's first birthday cake (about time, he's 4 and a half, lol):

That's it for today!!

You Do You: a gorgeous collab!!

Today, I'm showing you two layouts with the same kit!! I am rarely instantly inspired for more than one layout by a kit, but this one was just too much fun... I LOVE it!
It's called You Do You by Truman Studio and Bella Gypsy Designs:

I used it for a super cute pic of my son and a super silly pic of me (with a template by Captivated Visions for that one):

Now I'm thinking I need to do one more of hubby to match :D
The Bundle is on sale, go grab it, it's really worth it!

Truman Studio also released some gorgeous papers called the Remember When Papers which would be a great addition to any stash:

That's it for now, but I have a couple more releases and layouts for you later ;)

New CT

Today I'm showing you my first layout for my new CT gig for Mel Hains Designs. I've known her a long time as she was part of Scrap That Idea, but I never CTed for her... I'm very happy to do so now!
The kit is called Cruising, take a look:

And here's my layout:

And good news for you, there is also an awesome freebie up for grabs on her blog:

Well, that's it for this sick tired Mom tonight...

something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue!

This might be misleading as there is nothing wedding related about this post, but I have old and new kits to show, they can be considered borrowed as it's CT work and one of them is blue!!
So here are lots of Simple Girl Scraps products and my layouts for inspiration.
First, check out this cute kit called We Go Together. It's a peanut butter and jam themed kit! Cute, hey?

Most people used it as a metaphor for children who get along, or couple photos. I on the other hand went literal and used to scrap about my son's PB and Js. As he can't eat gluten or sugar and the school is peanut and nut free, his sandwiches are tapioca bread, organic jam with no sugar and sunflower seed butter!!

This was the newest kit, but there are a couple of older ones I didn't show yet and I love them and the layouts I made, so here they are.
First, Cherished Memories:

And my layout with Cédric playing in the backyard and his crazy static hair:

With the very soft kit A Mother's Love and a wordart Simple Girl Scraps made for a challenge last month:

And my layout:

And finally with We Click, a collab with Aly DeMoraes:

And my layout:

That's it for now, I'll be back tomorrow with a great kit from a designer whose CT I just started on (although I've known her a while...). Stay tuned!

Does this post need a title?

If I were to title this post it would be the same as usual, something apologizing for neglecting my blog, and letting you know there are awesome new goodies in stores this week-end, so I'll just skip the title, lol!

Here's what's new lately in my corner of digiland!
Artgal Style has released the June bundle of her project 365 collection:

I used it for a photo of my puppy who turns 8 today!!

Truman Studio recently released a very cute kit called Destination: New Mexico.

I used this one for a photo of me when I was a teenager, dressed as a cowgirl in the SouthWest... of France!!

And as usual, Simple Girl Scraps has lots of fun stuff going on. She's got her 3 stores and she's guesting this month at Scrappity Doo Dah!
She released a collab there, called Funky Fresh, with 3 Li'l Monsters:

I scrapped a photo of me and my little man in a Caterpillar roller coaster:

She also released The Fourth in all her stores:

And here's my layout:

She has two more kits, but I don't have layouts yet, so I'll show them when I have some inspiration for you ;)
Have a good week-end!
