Vroom vroom, here's a sneak peek!

As promised, here is a sneak peek of the freebie I'll be giving away next week...

Let me know what you think!

Island Sampler!

This week has been busy, but good!
This will be a quick post to show you the lei-outs I made with Scrapable's August mega collab: Island Sampler.
The kit is fun! It's huge, the colours are gorgeous and each designer was able to put their own twist on it, so it's very varied!

Take a look at my lei-outs:

I'll be back later to show you a sneak peek of my next freebie!

stay tuned...

The next freebie is in the hands of my talented CT and should be released next Monday.
In the meantime, I'm working on my article, trying to keep up with Cédric and there's not that much time for scrapping ... but I'm hoping to do a few layouts (I miss it...)

Happy scrapping!

A new CT member

A bit of exciting news for me today. Recently, a very talented lady joined the French forum at which at participate regularly. She's a beginner at digiscrapping and yet her pages are gorgeous, original and so well done. She's already mastered placement, colours, drop shadows, blending, ... I was very impressed with her pages and I noticed that others were too. So I decided to make a move before others would and asked her if she would join my CT, and she said yes!
Her name is Émilie, but she uses Milao for forums and galleries. She also has a great blog: Milao scrap and her very own blinkie (which you can see in the sidebar). Go check it out, I guarantee you'll be impressed by her pages.

And she even made me a page with Pina Colada right away, take a look:

Now I'm working as hard and fast as I can to make my next kit and give my TWO-women CT something to do, lol.

Merci beaucoup Émilie!
Judith, now you have company form yet another continent...

A fresh look

I decided my blog needed a fresh look that might reflect my designs... so I made a new header and a blinkie to match!
Do you like the new look?
It's the first blinkie I've ever made and I had fun (can you tell):

Feel free to take it...

just life...

Nothing to show today, just a bit of chatting.
I had a good July 14th (which is the French national day). Then an even better 15th as I got to go see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fan...There were some parts I didn't like too much or would have done differently, but overall, I liked it!

Now I'm finally working on a new kit (I wasn't too inspired, although I had the general idea for the kit).
I'm also proofreading and helping with some pieces of an article based on my Masters' thesis that my director would like to publish in the fall.
So overall keeping busy!
Hope everyone is having a good summer!

The infamous cluster frame

Well, it seems my sister is having a hard time, or not enough time, and therefore she hasn't fixed the 4shared link so ... I did it myself!

Here's a look at it again:

And here's my link to 4shared (or click the image)!
Sorry about all that, I do hope you enjoy, it, she did a great job!

So sorry...

My sister is only learning how to use 4shared (which can be a little complicated at first) and there is a password to download the cluster frame. She however does not know how to remove it or why it's there. I've tried to send her some help, but as we are on two different sides of the Atlantic, it's not that easy to communicate and there are delays due to the time difference. I will put an update as soon as we get it fixed... Sorry!

The pina colada cluster frame

Here it is! My sister made you a fun cluster frame with Pina Colada. Here's what it looks like:

You can get it on her blog here (it's in French, but my sister has the English version too for the "download here" part, under the picture of the cluster frame, so click on either "ici" or "here" and that will take you to 4shared ...)! Leave her some love if you download!

Cluster frame

My sister had fun making a cluster frame for all of you with Pina Colada, but I don't have a 4shared link quite yet... Come back soon for it (if she doesn't send it to me, I'll post it myself, lol).

In the meantime here's another layout I made with it (it was a scraplift of a layout by Ravena for a challenge at Digi Town Square). I recoloured one of my papers and played with blending (which I very rarely do...):

Come back for the cluster!

My fruity alpha!

Before I move on to the alpha for Pina Colada, I want to show you a layout I made for Cheryl's recipe challenge this week (at the Scrap That Idea blog), using Beautiful Garden by Vicki (available at Scrap That Idea):

Now here's the alpha! It's actually pineapple on coconut shell!! I was pretty happy with the idea and quite pleased with the result. I hope you like it too, take a look:

Click here or on the image to go to 4shared and download. And leave me some love if you do...
Visit the blog again soon, in case I decide to make a quickpage (no promises but you never know).
Until then, happy scrapping!

Your Pina Colada elements

Despite the rain we've had for a week, the elements for Pina Colada are summery (maybe I'm trying to make myself feel better).
The kit actually started with the little golden lizard that you can see on Judith's layout and my husband being very helpful suggested I call the kit "Check out my lizard". I later added the pineapple, flowers, coconut etc... and landed on Pina Colada!

Here's the preview again:

Click here or on the image to go to 4shared and download!
Hope you like it... Come back tomorrow for a fruity alpha...

Do you like Carnivals?

I just noticed this great even starting today at Digi Town Square!
It's a carnival where you participate in a number of challenges and end up collecting tickets, which are then drawn for prizes. It sounds like a lot of fun, so I'm signing up and figured some of you might like to know about it!
Check out the poster they made for it:

Come join in the fun!

I f you like Pina Colada...

...then you should like my latest freebie!
It's actually called Pina Colada and it has sort of an island/summer/Hawaiian feel.

You've seen the sneak peek, now here's the full preview:

Before I give you the links to the papers, check out what Judith did with it! Thanks Judith:

And here's a layout I made (Keiki is child in Hawaiian:)):

Today, you get the papers, they look like this:

And here are the three links to get them (they are all large files, sorry...):
pc papers 1
pc papers 2
pc papers 3

Hope you like it! Leave me some love if you do and come back tomorrow for the elements!

Gorgeous kits make nice layouts...

I decided to enter Cheryl's recipe challenge for the Scrap That Idea blog, at the very last minute. I used Vicki's Boho Chic kit and the result proves that gorgeous kits (which this one definitely is) make nice layouts (at least I think it's nice ;)).

I struggle with clusters a lot and this challenge asked for two separate ones. So thank you Cheryl for pushing me out of my comfort zone...

If you like it, go get the kit, it's only $3 and well worth it (get it here).

First Sneak Peek!

It's the first time I do a sneak peek! I hope you like it!

Let me know what you think!

layouts first...

A few layouts to show (then I'll go work on that preview).

First, here are two with Sweet Freedom by Laurinda's Digiscraps. It's a 4th of July kit, so I had a bit of a challenge ;)

And one with the gorgeous July collab at Scrapable, called Time To Get Away:

If you like this last one, hurry to Scrapable as it will be available as a QP (along with another one I made)!

Canada Day

I hope everyone had a great Canada Day yesterday!
My next freebie is in the hands on my CT member and my guest CT (my sister).
I'm really happy with the kit and I will release it as soon as I get some layouts (but no rush, girls, people can wait a bit...:)

Check back soon for some new layouts and a little sneak peek of the freebie.
