Tit for Tat (*freebie post*)

Well obviously the freebie is the "tit". I've just started my 2011 calendar, and I decided to make myself a template and keep a similar format for all pages. As I was completing my January page, I thought you might want the template too!
It can be used as a calendar page of course, but I think it would work well as a layout too if you remove the calendar grid... Here's what it looks like (and my layout to give you inspiration):

I used Funky Retro (retired kit) by A Work In Progress Designs by Vicki and a couple elements from Jack Frost by AWP Vicki as well. The calendar grid is all from Date Me Stitching by VW Designs (that actually was bought with a RAK gift certificate from a very nice scrappy friend of mine who knows who she is, thanks again girl ;) ).

Now of course there's a link for the template, but before I give it to you, I want to tell you about the "tat". As you may know, I am participating on Battle of the Creative Teams at Digiscrapaddicts on Vicki's team: Vicki's Working Girls. Round 2 has just closed and it's time to vote. I truly believe that her gorgeous designs paired with my teammates' talent makes us very worthy competitors, but that means nothing if we don't any votes... and that's where you come in!
If you like the template, grab it, and if you feel like doing a little something to say thank you, click HERE to get to the voting page and vote for A Work In Progress (it only takes a few seconds, we're in the middle of the list)! Let me show you my layout so you can see some of what you're voting for (you can see all of my team's layouts here):

Now here's you link to 4shared: template 5
Thanks for reading and hopefully voting, and enjoy the template!

another monster post! And a freebie!!!

Well, two days after my last post, my parents arrived for a 3 week visit. They are from France and I'm in Canada, so we don't see each other very often. It was a great visit, very pleasant, but it cut down my scrapping/blogging time.

So now that they're gone, I have LOTS to say and show.
You're going to have to bear with me a bit and you'll be rewarded for your patience with a freebie...

First, I want to let you know about a great sale at Scrap That Idea:

Next, I want to show you my last few CT layouts, all done with kits by Stacey's Scraps.

Just for Kids (what a fun, bright kit!!):

Grams and Gramps which is perfect for grand-parents/great-aunts or uncles, etc. and so much more:

Always Remember for all police/army/firefighter pics or anything else like my page ;):

Happy Campers which has exclusive doodles to scrap your camping/nature pics (I love the colour combo in this one!):

That's it for CT layouts!! And I'll show you all challenge layouts in another post.
So now it's time for your freebie template!!

It's based on a layout I made which I thought was a bit different and could make a nice template. Here it is (click on it to go to 4shared and download):

Leave me a little love if you grab it and happy scrapping!

Bad blogger with lots to say ... and a freebie!

Between my son's ear infection, my own sinus infection, a little business/family trip, and nothing to give, I've been a bad blogger indeed!
So now I'm back with lots of things to say. And you might want to stay with me as I do have a little something for you at the end of the post...

First, let me tell you about the great sale coming up at Scrap That Idea:

My wishlist is ready, go prepare yours!

Now here are a couple of layouts I did for Stacey's Scraps CT. She keeps releasing gorgeous kits and I can't believe I'm 3 kits behind!
Take a look at T is for Teenager:

My layouts:

U is for Urban Love:

My layout:

V is for Victoria:

My layout:

I've also done a few challenges lately, but as the post is getting long (!), I'll just show you this one, done with Earth and Sky by Mel Hains Designs:

And the reason I chose this one to show you is because I've made a template from it!
Hope you like it, here's the preview linked to 4shared to download:

Leave me some love if you like it.
Happy scrapping!

layouts and a freebie

First off, I'm quite late showing you Stacey's new kit. It's called P is for Potty Training and it's a must-have for any mom. Look at all the cute elements and what I did with it:

Then I did a few challenges:

A super-fun "scrap your hunk" challenge at STI (done mostly with the Live for Today collab, that kit name could be a James Bond title don't you think?):

A scraplift challenge (original layout by Kim21673, kit Tutti Frutti by Stacey's Scraps):

A template challenge (template by Opalyne, kit Dream or Reality by Chriscrap):

And one just for myself using Stacey's E is for Exercise:

...which I liked quite a bit and made into a freebie template for you
!!!
Here's the template preview and link:

You can get it here or click on the image!
Hope you like it...

Exciting news and a freebie to boot! *fixed link*

It might seem like I haven't been doing much digiscrap-wise but that's not quite true!

First, I'm making an album for the year 2009 and I want to get it finished before I show it, but it's taking quite a bit of my time.

Second, I've made a few layouts for challenges and I've just been too lazy to show you.

Third, and that's the exciting one, I've been accepted into an awesome CT: Stacey of Stacey's scraps asked me to join and that's an offer I couldn't refuse. So I'll have lots of cool layouts to show you soon. Check out her store and the Scrap That Idea gallery to see how much talent I'll be surrounded by...YAY!

And finally, I did a layout for a challenge, then realized I forgot one of the rules and instead of using one picture I put 10, that's right, 10 times the amount of pictures I was supposed to use...can you say brain fart?
But I liked the end result quite a bit and I decided to make a template for you with it. It's the first time I make a template and I have no idea if I did it right, so feedback would be appreciated.
I included the drop shadows for some elements (the papers and pictures). I'd like to know if that's something people like, or if they prefer making their own. I figured they were easy to remove anyways...

Let me show you the layout it's based on, for which I used Puppy Love by A Work in Progress Designs by Vicki:

And now the template itself:

Click here to download and please leave me some love, or if it's no good, some constructive comments ;)
I'd also love to see what you do with it, so please upload your layouts in my guest book. Thanks and enjoy!
