I've had a great week-end so far...
The weather is very summery again (30 celsius and sunny), we finished building my son's playcentre and he loves it: he plays in the water, climbs the ladder, slides down, uses the glider...
We also spent some time just on the deck trying to catch bubbles! It was windy and they were flying everywhere: pretty and lots of fun!
What made the week-end even better? Layout of the Day two days in a row at Scrapable!!!
Yesterday my layout "Unleash your inner wolf was picked" (the one done with My Jake by Angelle Designs and a template by Dream Big Designs). Here it is again:
And today a layout I just did called Magic Happens got picked too! I used a template by Amy! and the kit It's a Kind of Magic by Sweet Blossom Designs. Here it is:
I've been wanting to scrap with this kit for a while and when I saw Amy! template for a Scrapable challenge, I though of it right away for some reason. Then I chose my favourite picture of our wedding, thinking it would make my eyes pop, and I have to say I LOVE the end result...
Thanks for reading and happy scrapping everyone!

A couple of layouts
I had a really crazy week, just running around....
The weather was not great lately and we started thinking fall was here, but today is really nice and warm, supposed to go to 30 celsius and stay like that for a week!
Here are a couple of layouts I made lately!
First another one with a kit by Angelle Design. For any Twilight fan, especially if you're leaning towards team Jacob, you need this kit called My Jake (title linked to the store). And here's my layout of my adorable puppy girl who is sweet and clumsy and couldn't survive in the wild, LOL (it was done with a template by Dream Big Designs):
Next is Stacey's new kit. It's called Yee-Haw and it's inspired by her move to Texas. The elements are soooo cute, and I love the colours. Take a look at the kit (linked to the store) and my layout:
And here's a layout done for a quote challenge with Happiness Is, by Modern June:
With A Work In Progress Designs by Vicki's latest kit called Stars and a template by Modern June:
With Soul Sister by Modern June:
:
And with King Pin by Dream Big Designs:
Have a good week-end and happy scrapping!

Hi,
Another week gone by and the summer is getting shorter...
But in the meantime, we're enjoying it as much as we can!
I didn't do a great deal of scrapping this week, but I do have a couple of great kits to show you.
First is Stacey's Scraps' new kit, Princess and Daddy. Great for all daddy and daughter layouts, but as always versatile enough for other things. Take a look:
And I just realized it would be perfect for my Medieval Times pics...
I also did a speedscrap yesterday and I decided to use the new kit by A Work In Progress Designs by Vicki called School Rules to scrap my teacher ed. grad picture. Take a look:
And as I write, I realize I didn't show you my layout for Vicki's latest challenge on the STI forum. We're scrapping animals and I love that pic I took of a chipmunk at the campsite. I scrapped it with Colour My World, one of my favourite kits of Vicki's:
That's it for layouts. You have until Tuesday to enter the challenge if you'd like. Also, the STI girls are having a RAK: if you display their blinkie on your blog (which you can find on the blog), you might win a GC.
That's it for today, have a good week-end and happy scrapping!

New challenge
We had an interesting week here!
We had a very strange, strong storm, with heavy rain and fast wind. We lost power for about 1 hour (or more). So I was "forced" to read (my son was napping). The only downfall was the effect it had on my computer which took a while to get back to its normal speed after being shut down unceremoniously. The good thing is that it convinced my hubby we needed a good back-up system and a UPS (battery back-up). So now, we should be safe!!
Time machine is backing up everything as we speak!
Now to the fun stuff. Vicki's first challenge was lots of fun, and the second one has started! This time, we are scrapping pics of animals with any one of her kits. So far, the layouts are great and all the pics are adorable (I love animals). Come join us here to take part in the fun, get some points to buy goodies and maybe win the challenge and get a free kit of your choice (the participants are voting for their favourite this time...).
Vicki also released a new kit called Peacock and I love the colours, so I used it for a font challenge (font is SF Lani):
I also made my August desktop with a Scrapable collab called Day Dreams of Summer:
And a scraplift challenge with another Scrapable collab called Boyish Charm (original page by Agraf):
That's it for today, thanks for looking and happy scrapping!
