The new collab comes out today at Scrap That Idea and as usual it's gorgeous and really big for a mere $4!
This month it's called "Live For Today". Take a look at the rich colours:
Here are the layouts I made with it.
The first one I only used Stacey's part of the collab:
And the second uses a little bit of everything (well a lot of everything really). It's a scraplift of a gorgeous layout by Lizzy that I saw in her Digiscrapaddicts gallery:
It was a lot of work for me, and a different style than my usual but I really enjoyed challenging myself and the kit was perfect for it!
Thanks for looking and happy scrapping!

O is for Over the rainbow!!
This is an exciting post as it is my first to show you layouts I made as a member of Stacey's CT.
Today, she has a gorgeous new kit out, full of bright colours and fun original elements.
It's called O is for Over the Rainbow and it looks like this:
When I got it, I realized it was just perfect for our Dinseyworld pictures and as I couldn't choose just one or two, I decided to make a mini album of our day there (on my son's birthday). So I have 4 layouts so far and more to come!!
You can find the kit HERE (hurry it's on sale for just a couple of days).

Exciting news and a freebie to boot! *fixed link*
It might seem like I haven't been doing much digiscrap-wise but that's not quite true!
First, I'm making an album for the year 2009 and I want to get it finished before I show it, but it's taking quite a bit of my time.
Second, I've made a few layouts for challenges and I've just been too lazy to show you.
Third, and that's the exciting one, I've been accepted into an awesome CT: Stacey of Stacey's scraps asked me to join and that's an offer I couldn't refuse. So I'll have lots of cool layouts to show you soon. Check out her store and the Scrap That Idea gallery to see how much talent I'll be surrounded by...YAY!
And finally, I did a layout for a challenge, then realized I forgot one of the rules and instead of using one picture I put 10, that's right, 10 times the amount of pictures I was supposed to use...can you say brain fart?
But I liked the end result quite a bit and I decided to make a template for you with it. It's the first time I make a template and I have no idea if I did it right, so feedback would be appreciated.
I included the drop shadows for some elements (the papers and pictures). I'd like to know if that's something people like, or if they prefer making their own. I figured they were easy to remove anyways...
Let me show you the layout it's based on, for which I used Puppy Love by A Work in Progress Designs by Vicki:
And now the template itself:
Click here to download and please leave me some love, or if it's no good, some constructive comments ;)
I'd also love to see what you do with it, so please upload your layouts in my guest book. Thanks and enjoy!

Festive alpha
The alpha I made for Chinese Zodiac is bright and quite festive, take a look:
Like it?
I know that sometimes we don't want to use the alpha, or at least not for everything, so I thought I'd share with the you the font I used so you can do some journalling, write dates, etc., with a font that matches the kit perfectly. It's from Harold's fonts and it's called Chow Fun.
Now here's your link to download the alpha:
Enjoy!

Chinese Zodiac elements
I'm glad you are enjoying the kit! I had fun making it.
Before I give you the elements, here's a little layout I made with it:
So, you know the whole kit looks like this:
But here's a more detailed view of the 12 lanterns, one for each of the 12 signs with the corresponding Chinese character, and the 12 animal elements, again one for each of the 12 signs.
You also get a simple lantern, and an empty one that you can use as a frame (and the weird grey papery thing fits in the lantern so you can give texture to your photo if you want).
And 2010 is the year of the tiger, so I made a little wordart for that, but I also included a blank one so you can make for any year. Like I said, I had fun...
So enough blabal, here's the link so you can get the elements:
Leave some love and come back tomorrow for the alpha!

Back with a freebie!
I can't believe how long it's been since I blogged. I've been a bad blogger!
I've considered showing you some of my layouts recently, but I figured I'd be better off getting a fresh start with a freebie!
Considering the date, a lot of new kits are coming out with Valentine's day themed kits. That's how I started last year with an alpha! I can't believe it's been a year!
Instead of going with that theme, I was inspired by something else happening on February 14th this year: the Chinese New Year. My new kit is called Chinese Zodiac and it has the feel of a Chinese New Year celebration and everything you need to scrap your chinese zodiac sign.
I really hope you like it, I'm pretty happy with it...
So here's a look at the whole kit:
As usual, we'll start with the papers, and they look like this:
You'll notice the 12 little ones on the preview. The kit includes one paper with the Chinese character for each of the 12 signs (and they are labelled clearly in case, like me, you don't read Chinese, lol).
So here are the 3 links to download on 4shared:
Please let me know if you like it with a little love (here preferably, or on 4shared). And don't forget to upload your pages done with the kit or any other kit of mine (my guestbook is a little sad...).
A little disclaimer before I let you go. I am not of Chinese descent, nor do I really know the culture so well. I did a lot of research for the colours and the characters, etc. and I hope I got it right. But if anyone around is Chinese and notices mistakes, please let me know so I can try to correct them, and know that I mean no disrespect.
See you tomorrow with the elements!
